OIGAA ME can run on any Windows Mobile handset with Wi-Fi or 3G data connectivity. If the handset runs its own SIP stack, OIGAA recognizes as any other IP phone. If there aren't any, the GSM channel is used transparently by the user to place and receive OIGAA calls.

OIGAA enables the user to be connected with the company 'switchboard' at any time, everywhere by using their mobile phones. The user can answer received calls on his/her OIGAA extension and manage presence settings to decide when and for whom (he/she) is available when roaming on GSM networks. In all cases, voice is transported over GSM channels. This means that the quality of service is always guaranteed by the mobile operator.

When any call is received on OIGAA and the user is not logged on his/her PC or there is no answer from the IP device, depending on preferences, OIGAA will send a notification to the mobile phone. If the mobile phone is not connected to the Internet (usually on GSM terminals), notification is made via a missed call. Mobile phones using 3G or Wi-fi for Internet connection could be notified through their mobile OIGAA application running into the handset, if the data channel is up the call-back call is started automatically from the mobile terminal to OIGAA.

As soon as the OIGAA network recognizes incoming calls from mobile DDI, it answers the call and links the user incoming call with their related waiting call tail to answer. It has been holding with a friendly message. The signalling process takes less than one second, but the user's reaction, to answer (if the missed call has to be answered), could take a couple of seconds. It is very easy and user-friendly to set a specific ring tone in the mobile to recognize OIGAA incoming calls, by setting this feature with OIGAA user local number.

Forward calls for your mobile for free

The basic technique used to answer calls received in OIGAA through any mobile is based on a very simple concept: "Call your own OIGAA extension when somebody is waiting for your reply". Calls to OIGAA from a mobile could be made without any charge by the operator when the OIGAA local number is defined as 'preferred landline number' included in the flat-fee rate plan the company has for all its professional users. This kind of price plan is very common in Europe for business mobile customers.
